ఉద్యమాల గుమ్మం విరాట్ రాయాంధ్ర గ్రంధాలయం. క్రింది చిత్రం నేలకొండపల్లిలోని శ్రీ విరాట్ రాయాంధ్ర గ్రంధాలయం. ఈ చిత్రంలో 1935 సంవత్సరంలో శ్రీ పెండ్యాల సత్యనారాయణ రావు విరాట్ రాయాంధ్ర గ్రంధాలయం ముందర జనాన్ని ఉద్దేశించి ప్రసంగిస్తున్నారు. నడుమ మీద చేయివుంచి మాట్లాడుతున్న వ్యక్తే శ్రీ పెండ్యాల. ఈయనకు ఎడమ ప్రక్కన శ్రీ దుగ్గిరాల శ్రిరామయ్య.  ఈ గ్రంధాలయాన్ని 1912 సంవత్సరంలో స్థాపించారు. ఆనాటి గ్రామ పెద్ద్దలు శ్రీ పెండ్యాల వాసుదేవ సోమయాజులు తన ఆత్మీయ మిత్రుడు నేలకొండపల్లి గ్రామ కరణం/పట్వారి  శ్రీ రావులపాటి గోపాలరావు సహకారంతో గ్రంధాలయానికి శ్రీకారం చుట్టారు. శ్రీ వాసుదేవ సోమయాజుల గారి ఐదుగురు కుమారులు ఆ రోజులలో న్యాయవాద వృత్తిలోవుండేవారు. ఆయన పెద్ద బూస్వామి. బ్రిటిష్ ఇండియాలోని కృష్ణ, గుంటూరు జిల్లాలలో కూడా భూములు వుండేవి. ఆ ప్రాంతంలోని భూములకోసం తరచు ఆప్రాంతాలకు వెళ్ళుచుండేవాడు. ఆ ప్రాంతాల ప్రభావముతో ఆంధ్రభాషాభిమానం పట్ల ఆవిధంగా ఆకర్షించ బడ్డాడు. ఆ విధంగా ప్రభావితమైన భావజాలంతో తెలుగు/ఆంద్ర భాషా వ్యాప్తికై నడుం బిగించి ఈ గ్రంధాలయం ద్వారా కార్యాచరణకు శ్రీకారం చుట్టారు. ఆనాడు అందుల...
