యూత్ క్లబ్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ గా సమాజ సేవ ఆరంభం. 1977 సం.లో నేలకొండపల్లి గ్రామంలోని అన్ని వర్గాల యువకులంతా కలిసి నన్ను ఏకగ్రీవంగా యూత్ క్లబ్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ గా ఎన్నుకున్నారు. లిబర్టీ యూత్ క్లబ్ గా దానికి నామకరణం చేసాము. ప్రెసిడెంట్ గా నేను, వైస్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ గా శ్రీ కంకిపాటి శ్రీనివాస రావు, సెక్రటరీగా చెరుకూరి సాంబశివరావు, జాయింట్ సెక్రటరీగా శ్రీ కొల్లి జగన్మోహనరావు, కోశాధికారిగా శ్రీ ఠాకూర్ రాంగోపాల్ సింగ్ మరియు శ్రీ కోనేరు కిశోరు యిత్యాదులు కార్య వర్గ సభ్యులుగా వున్నారు. కొంతకాలం తరువాత జూనియర్ కాలేజీలో జరిగిన ఇంటర్ ఫైనల్ క్లాసు ప్రతినిధి ఎన్నిక పరిణామాల పర్యవసానంగా గ్రామ వాతావరణం మారిపాయింది. యూత్ క్లబ్ లో లిబర్టీ కరువై పాయిందని కొందరు బయటకు వెళ్ళటం, నేను తప్పనిసరి పరిస్థితులలో రాజకీయాలలోకి రావటం జరిగింది.  అప్పుడు వున్న నిబంధనల ప్రకారం సీనియర్ ఇంటర్ లో  గెలిచిన ప్రతినిధే  కాలేజీ ప్రెసిడెంట్ అవుతాడు. రాజకీయాలలోకి వచ్చిన తరువాత మొట్టమొదటి సారిగా సుందరయ్య చౌక్ లో కాంగ్రెస్ గద్దె నిర్మాణం ప్రారంభించాము. అప్పుడు CPM పార్టీ సానుభూతిపరుడు  ఒక్కరు గద్దె నిర్మాణ స్థలాన్ని ...

దేవాలయం చరిత్ర. ఆరు వందల సంవత్సరాల పైగా చరిత్ర గల నెలకొందపల్లి లొని శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వర స్వామి దేవాలయాన్ని పూర్వకాలం లో "నాగుల్ దేవాలయం"గా పిలిచేవారు. నిజాం కాలం నుంచి 1967 సంవత్సరం రాష్ట్ర దేవాదాయ శాఖ స్వాధీనం చేసుకొనే వరకు "దేవల్ బాలాజీ" అని పిలిచేవారు. ఇక్కడ స్వామి స్వయంభూ మరియు శేషావతారం. ఇక్కడ కొలువై ఉన్న దేవుడు కోరిన కోరికలు తీర్చే స్వామియని భక్తుల విశ్వాసం. 320 ఎకరాలు పైగా పొలం ఉన్నా అందులో 100 ఎకరాలు సుమారుగా సాగర్ కాలువ క్రింద పోయింది. మిగిలిన భూమిలో రేగులగడ్డా తండాలో 150 ఎకరాలు పోను నేలకొండపల్లి మరియు పరిసర గ్రామాల్లో ఉంది. 1967 వరకు ముంతకల్దారులు గా మరియు స్థానాచార్యులు గా 17 తరాలు "ముడుంబాయ్" వంశస్థులు వున్నారు. వారి కోరిక ప్రకారం తదుపరి శ్రీ మరింగంటి కృష్ణమాచార్యులు వచ్చారు.  ఉత్సవ సమయాల్లో స్వామి వాహన దారులుగా బెస్త కులస్థులు ఆనాటినుంచి ఈనాటి వరకు తరాలు మారినా సాంప్రదాయం కొనసాగిస్తున్నారు.  మహిమ మరియు చరిత్ర ఉన్న ఈ దేవాలయం గురించిన చారిత్రక ఆధారాలు/ శిలా శాసనాలు లేకపోవటం దురదృష్టకరం. దేవాలయం తో అనుభంధం. మా వూరికి...

       Nine men gangraped and brutalized a 28-year-old mentally-challenged Nepalese woman  in  Rohtak district Haryana state nearer to Delhi capital of India. The woman had came from Nepal  three months ago and was staying with her sister at Rohtak while being treated at a hospital. Her sister  had reported her missing. The police did not take it seriously. If they had acted promptly she would have been alive. The mutilated body of the victim, who belonged to Nepal's Vardia district  was found without key organs on Wednesday along with sticks, stones and condoms stuffed into her private parts three days after she went missing.            Marking another milestone in the country’s deterrence capability,  India on Saturday successfully test-fired its indigenously developed, intercontinental surface-to-surface nuclear capable ballistic missile Agni-5, which has a strike range of over 5000 kms and can carry a nuclear warhead of over one tonne, from Wheeler's Island off Odisha coast.             Saturday's launch was the third developmental trial of the long range missile.
